Gold Coast Healthcare Staffing is looking for a Physical Therapy Assistant to join our team at a Skilled Nursing Facility in California. In this role, you will work closely with patients, assisting with exercises, reviewing treatment plans, and maintaining accurate records. You will also support patients using mobility devices and provide mentorship. Qualifications

• Current state licensing for physical therapy assistance required.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to create a positive, nurturing environment.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office suite.
• Ability to work well and make decisions in a high-stress environment.

Responsabilités

• Assist patients with exercises or functional tasks, correcting form, motivating, and ensuring safety.
• Review and administer individualized treatment plans for each patient.
• Maintain accurate records of treatments and patient progress.
• Support patients who use devices such as walkers, canes, or wheelchairs.
• Mentor and encourage patients during major life changes, providing support and advice.
• Ensure all equipment is maintained, clean, and safe.
