Job summary

TotalMed Allied seeks a traveling Physical Therapist for Alameda, California. The PT will evaluate, develop, and execute a plan of care for diverse patient populations in an acute care setting.

The right candidate has 1 year of PT experience with BLS and state licensing. This travel role involves supervising PTAs, coordinating with medical staff, and adhering to state regulations, with 35 hours per week over 13 weeks.

Qualifications

• Must have BLS and state-specific licensing.
• 1 year of PT experience preferred, 6 months may be considered for exceptional candidates.
• New grads are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Oversee supervising PTAs and therapy support staff.
• Bill within the respective setting following facility guidelines.
• Ensure compliance with the PT board's rules and regulations in the state.
• Coordinate with Medical Center personnel and physicians for plan of care.
• Evaluate and create a plan of care for patients.
• Modify plan of care as patient condition changes.
• Utilize hospital computer systems for daily tasks.
• Provide timely and accurate documentation per guidelines.
