Job summary

TotalMed Allied is seeking a Physical Therapist for a 13-week travel assignment in Tulsa, OK. The PT will evaluate patients, develop and execute a plan of care in an acute care setting, and collaborate with physicians and center staff.

This travel role requires at least 6 months of experience (1 year preferred), BLS and state licensure, and ability to stand/walk for long periods. Schedule is 40 hours per week, with 8-hour daytime shifts.

Qualifications

• 1 year of travel therapy experience preferred; 6 months accepted for exceptional candidates.
• Must have BLS and state licensing.
• Ability to stand and walk for long periods; knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology and medical terminology.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and develop a plan of care for varied patient populations in acute care.
• Oversee supervising PTAs and therapy staff.
• Bill within the setting and ensure compliance with facility guidelines.
• Interface with Medical Center personnel and physicians to support a team-based plan of care.
• Use medical center systems and document per guidelines.
