Job summary

TotalMed Allied is seeking a Physical Therapist for a travel assignment in Salina, Kansas. The PT will evaluate, develop, and execute plans of care for diverse patient populations in an acute care setting, supervising staff and coordinating with medical personnel.

The role emphasizes a team-based approach, adherence to state regulations, and timely documentation. The assignment lasts 13 weeks with 40 hours per week, standard day shifts, and a tax-free stipend may apply.

Qualifications

• Must have 6 months of experience; new grads encouraged to apply.
• Must have BLS and state-specific licensing.

Responsibilities

• Oversee supervising PTAs and support staff (therapy technicians).
• Bill within the respective setting following facility guidelines.
• Understand PT board rules and regulations for the state.
• Interface with Medical Center personnel and physicians to ensure a team-based plan of care.
• Understand adaptive equipment and evaluate/create a plan of care.
• Modify plan of care as patient condition changes.
• Use Medical Center computer systems for daily tasks.
• Provide timely and accurate documentation following state/insurance guidelines.
