Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a travel Physical Therapist for a 13-week assignment in Salinas, CA. The role involves evaluating and treating patients across hospital, clinic, and rehabilitation settings. You will work 40 hours per week with 8-hour shifts, starting ASAP, and be supported by a dedicated clinical team.

Qualifications

• Valid Physical Therapy license in compliance with state regulations.
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).
• Doctorate degree in physical therapy preferred.
• Experience as a PT preferred; new grads welcome.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients’ physical conditions to identify functional limitations and treatment needs.
• Develop personalized rehabilitation programs based on assessment findings and patient goals.
• Implement physical therapy treatment plans to improve mobility and reduce pain.
• Operate PT equipment safely and calibrate devices as needed.
• Document evaluations, interventions, and outcomes in the medical record.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other therapists to coordinate care.
• Educate patients and caregivers on home exercises and injury prevention.
• Maintain infection control and a safe treatment environment.
• Support discharge planning for transitions to home or community settings.
