Job summary

MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel Physical Therapist for a 12-week assignment in Waycross, Georgia. This role requires a Doctorate or Bachelor’s in Physical Therapy with NPTE, a current PT license, and CPR certification.

Expect 40 hours per week, days, with travel benefits and housing options. The position emphasizes patient assessment, plan of care development, and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team to achieve patient goals.

Qualifications

• Must hold a Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy OR a Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy and have passed the NPTE
• Must have graduated from an accredited school.
• Minimum one year's experience
• Current state license as a Registered Physical Therapist / PT or in process for licensure
• Current CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Assess referred patients for rehabilitation and provide direct patient care.
• Establish and administer a treatment program with goals based on patient capacity.
• Document patient condition and educate patients and families in physical therapy methods.
• Develops a plan of care and provides skilled physical therapy services.
• Collaborates with disciplines to plan and evaluate team goals for each patient.
