MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN Behavioral Health for a travel assignment in Holyoke, Massachusetts. Start date 10/12/2026, 13 weeks, 40 hours per week, nights, travel employment.

The role requires an active RN license, a nursing degree from an accredited program, BLS, and 18 months of acute psychiatric care experience. You will assess patients, collaborate with teams, and manage psychotropic medications, with benefits including weekly pay and housing options.

Qualifications

• Active RN license is required.
• Degree from an accredited nursing program.
• BLS certification required.
• Eighteen months of recent experience in an acute care psychiatric setting.

Responsibilities

• Assess the mental health status of patients with behavioral challenges.
• Collaborate with medical providers and mental health staff in designing and delivering patient care.
• Administer and monitor effects and side-effects of psychotropic medications.
• Assist patients and families to interpret and manage behaviors and plan healthy lifestyle changes.
• Exercise balanced judgement in evaluation situations and handle difficult or confrontational scenarios professionally.
