MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Psychiatric Registered Nurse for a travel assignment in Jeffersonville, IN. The role supports top healthcare clients and requires active RN licensure with acute psychiatric experience.

Qualifications

• Active RN License
• Degree from accredited nursing program
• BLS Certification
• Eighteen months of recent experience in an Acute Care Psychiatric setting
• Other requirements to be determined by our client facility

Responsabilités

• Assess the mental health status of patients with behavioral challenges.
• Collaborate with medical providers and mental health staff in the design and delivery of patient care.
• Administer and monitor effectiveness and side-effects of psychotropic medications.
• Assist patients, and families as appropriate, to interpret and manage maladaptive behaviors and to plan healthy lifestyle changes.
• Exercise balanced judgement in evaluation situations and making decisions to handle difficult or confrontational situations in a professional manner.
