Job summary

PEL/VIP is seeking a travel nurse RN Psychiatric for a travel assignment in Rockford, Illinois. This 13-week contract offers 40 hours per week, 8-hour day shifts, and a Monday–Friday schedule with on-call rotation every third week.

Qualified candidates must hold an active RN license and have at least one year of clinical RN experience; BSN is preferred. The role pays a gross weekly package of about $2,550, with tax-free stipends to be determined.

Qualifications

• Must have an active and unencumbered State Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• At least one year of clinical RN experience within the last five years.
• BSN preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with community healthcare providers, nutrition services, and behavior specialists.
• Oversee and coordinate all healthcare appointments, ensuring thorough and timely follow-ups.
• Train, empower, and delegate medication administration and nursing tasks.
• Maintain, review, and audit medical records.
