Job Summary:
A registered nurse specializing in Progressive Care Unit (PCU) care at a healthcare facility in the region. The position involves evaluating assigned patients, planning, implementing, and documenting nursing care, assisting physicians during examinations and procedures, and administering medications within the scope of practice. The role promotes patient independence through education and goal-setting, requiring a combination of clinical judgment and experience to provide quality care. The assignment begins late September and lasts approximately three months.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Days shift, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week. The shift runs from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM, with a 3/12 schedule and a 48-hour guarantee. The candidate will work 6 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule.
• Required Qualifications: Arizona nursing license, Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), at least 2 years of experience, Cerner electronic medical records experience, familiarity with cardiac drips, TAVR, and watchman mitral clips.
• Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Nursing.
• Float: Float rotation may be required between four specified facilities.
• Additional Information: This is a float pool position; candidates must be willing to work across the designated facilities as needed.
