The role emphasizes patient and employee safety, correct documentation, participation in rehabilitation programs, and discharge planning. The RN performs nursing assessments within 8 hours of admission, collaborates with patients and families, and communicates vital information to ensure continuity of care. The RN delegates tasks appropriately, maintains safety standards, actively pursues professional growth, and manages patient care efficiently.
