Job summary

American Traveler, LLC. is seeking a Postpartum RN for a 13-week night shift assignment in McKinney, TX. This travel position requires mother-baby experience and NRP certification, with a 7P-7A schedule and 1:5-6 patient ratio on a 25-bed unit.

Active TX or compact RN license, BLS and NRP, no gaps over 90 days, and US SSN/DOB are required. Perks include housing allowance, travel and licensure reimbursements, and day-one medical insurance.

Qualifications

• Active TX or compact RN license required.
• Current BLS and NRP certifications required.
• Mother baby experience required.
• Minimum 1 year of recent experience in postpartum specialty.
• US SSN and DOB required for consideration.
• No employment gaps of 90 days or more within the past 12 months.

Responsibilities

• Postpartum unit with 25 beds caring for postpartum moms and GYN surgery patients.
• Patient ratio of 1:5-6.
• Uses Meditech and CPN EMR systems.
• Night shift schedule, 7P-7A.
• Every other weekend required with no on-call responsibilities.
• Provide nursing care to postpartum mothers and patients recovering from GYN surgeries.
• Warm and bubbly personality preferred as best fit for the unit.
• Royal blue scrub attire required.
• Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility, no local candidates considered.
• First-time travelers may be considered.
