Job summary

MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Travel Nurse RN Post Partum for a travel assignment in Seattle, Washington. This 18-week contract offers 36 hours per week with 12-hour nights and comprehensive support from a Joint Commission-certified agency.

Responsibilities include caring for mothers and newborns after delivery, monitoring recovery, and teaching new parents. Requirements: RN license, nursing degree, BLS, ACLS, NRP, and 18 months in an Acute Care Mother/Baby setting.

Qualifications

• Active RN license required.
• Degree from accredited nursing program.
• BLS, ACLS & NRP certifications.
• 18 months of recent experience in an Acute Care Mother/Baby setting.
• Other client facility requirements may apply.

Responsibilities

• Educate and assist new mothers during postpartum period.
• Monitor mothers and newborns after delivery.
• Support recovery and recognize postpartum depression.
• Teach parents care, feeding, and newborn health.
