Supplemental Health Care is seeking a Travel Polysomnographer for a contract assignment in Mason City, Iowa. The role is a 13-week travel position with a 12-hour night shift and a 36-hour workweek.

You will explain the sleep study procedure, prepare and monitor equipment, record data, and coordinate with a sleep medicine physician to support patient care.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in polysomnography or related field.
• Certification from a recognized organization, such as the Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT)
• Enrollment in an accredited polysomnography program or completion of a Sleep Technology Approved Resource (STAR) program
• Commitment to BRPT code of conduct

Responsibilities

• Explain the procedure to the patient
• Set up equipment, attach sensors, and monitor the patient while they undergo the sleep study
• Record data, write reports, and collaborate with healthcare professionals regarding recommended treatments
• Work under the supervision of a sleep medicine physician

Education
