Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a Registered Polysomnographer/Sleep Tech for a 13-week travel assignment in Fargo, ND. The role includes a 12-hour night shift, 36 hours per week, and a travel-friendly schedule.

Eligible candidates have completed a sleep technology program, one year of polysomnography experience, and a valid Sleep Technician/Polysomnography license. The position emphasizes patient education, data collection, artifact reduction, and scoring support.

Qualifications

• Successful completion of a sleep technology program.
• One year of recent experience as a registered polysomnographer/sleep tech required.
• Valid Sleep Technician/Polysomnography license in compliance with state regulations.

Responsibilities

• Review patient history and verify orders.
• Provide education to patient and/or family members for either in-center or at-home testing.
• Follow procedural protocols to ensure collection of appropriate data.
• Identify, correct, and document artifacts to maintain the integrity of the recorded data.
• Document routine observations, including sleep stages and clinical events, changes in procedure, and other significant events in order to facilitate scoring and interpretation of results.
• Implement appropriate interventions as necessary.
• Assist with scoring sleep/wake stages and clinical events.
• Follow sleep center policies and procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned within the scope of a Registered Polysomnographer/Sleep Technician
