Job summary
American Traveler is hiring a Polysomnographer / Sleep Tech for a hospital-based sleep lab in Oregon. Requires at least 1 year of experience and an Oregon Polysomnography License in hand before consideration.
The position involves night shifts (3x12 hours, 6:30 PM–7:00 AM) with a 2:1 patient ratio, block scheduling, and no on-call requirements. Some travel between sister facilities may be needed, using Epic EMR for charting.
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of experience in polysomnography or sleep tech.
- BLS certification required.
- Oregon Polysomnography License in hand at submission.
- RPSGT certification required.
- Epic EMR experience required.
- Proficient in monitoring: EtCO2, ECG, EEG, SpO2 and periodic limb movements.
Responsibilities
- Hospital-based sleep lab setting within a short-term acute care facility.
- Patient ratio of 2:1.
- Night shift schedule, 3x12 hours from 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM.
- Block schedule required.
- Weekend shifts required, with Friday night into Saturday morning.
- No on-call requirements.
- No floating between units, may float between sister facilities.
- Uses Epic charting system.
