Job summary

Vitae Health Systems is seeking a dedicated Podiatrist Assistant to support a podiatrist in delivering foot care services to residents in nursing facilities. This is a travel-based, part-time position covering multiple facilities within the Chicago area.

You will assist with nail care, callus removal, wound care, and room preparation. Travel to facilities is required, with reimbursement provided, and a focus on compassionate care for seniors.

Qualifications

• Medical Assistant certification or CNA license required.
• Previous experience in a healthcare setting preferred.
• Willingness to travel to different facilities as needed.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist the podiatrist in providing foot care services to residents.
• Prepare treatment rooms and ensure equipment is sterilized and ready for use.
• Escort residents to and from the treatment area and assist them professionally.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
• Provide support to the podiatrist during procedures and treatments.
