Job summary

Amergis is seeking a Psychiatric/Mental Health RN to provide comprehensive care to patients with mental health and substance use disorders in various healthcare settings. The PMH RN will perform assessments, develop plans, administer treatments, and coordinate care with interdisciplinary teams to promote patient well-being.

The role requires current RN licensure, CPR, and compliance with state/federal regulations. Travel assignments across healthcare facilities offer competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse Licensure in-state practicing
• Current CPR if applicable
• TB Questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable
• Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation)
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements
• Must be at least 18 years of age

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive care to individuals, families and communities in line with PMH nursing scope.
• Perform assessments, diagnose and treat mental health and substance use disorders.
• Promote well‑being through prevention and education, coordinating patient care with the team.
• Demonstrate clinical judgment and critical thinking in nursing practice and care coordination.
