Job summary

TransTech Energy is seeking a Pipe Welder to join our field service team. This role requires 80% to 90% travel, primarily along the eastern coast with work across all 50 states as needed. The position involves welding in LP gas facilities, pipelines, and refineries while contributing to safety, teamwork, and quality.

Qualifications

• Must pass an observed 6G Welding Certification test with specific coupon and bend/x-ray requirements.
• Ability to read assembly and mechanical drawings to guide welds.
• Welding in multiple positions with adherence to safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform x-ray quality welds as needed.
• Weld in all positions as required and maintain clean work area.
• Follow safety practices and assist in on-site installations when needed.
• Plan piping layout and measure/mark pipes for cutting and welding.
• Coordinate with client on location and document job reports.
