Cross Country Nurses is seeking a travel nurse RN PICU - Pediatric Intensive Care for a travel assignment in Lubbock, Texas. The RN will support pediatric units during 12-hour days, with a 36-hour weekly schedule and potential unit float.

The ideal candidate holds BLS/PALS, has at least 1 year PICU experience, and a compact license. Responsibilities include ventilator and airway management, hemodynamics monitoring, and complex pediatric care.

Qualifications

• Certifications: BLS and PALS required.
• Minimum 1 year PICU experience with current licensure.
• PICU experience and 1:2 patient ratios essential.
• Ventilator management, airway management and related skills required.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialized care to critically ill pediatric patients in PICU.
• Monitor ventilated patients and manage hemodynamics.
• Perform advanced clinical procedures as needed.
• Self-scheduling with three consecutive 12-hour shifts or split shifts.
