Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing-Nursing is seeking a travel nurse RN PICU for a 13-week assignment in Tucson, AZ. Start date 10/26/2026. Shift is 12 hours, nights, totaling 36 hours per week. You'll work in a high acuity pediatric unit providing advanced care to critically ill patients.

Requirements include one year PICU experience, valid RN license, BLS, and PALS or ENPC. Preferred ACLS/CCRN. Competitive pay and comprehensive benefits accompany this travel opportunity.

Qualifications

One year of recent PICU RN experience.
Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations.
Current BLS (AHA/ARC) certification.
PALS (AHA/ARC) or ENPC certification.

Responsibilities

Explain procedures and treatments to pediatric patients and families to ensure understanding.
Administer prescribed medications and treatments per pediatric protocols.
Operate and assist with ventilators, central lines, and monitors.
Monitor vital signs and notify physicians of changes or adverse reactions.
Document history and assessments in medical records.
Adhere to safety, infection control, and regulatory standards.
