Job summary

American Traveler is seeking an experienced Travel RN for a Pediatric ICU assignment in Charleston, South Carolina. This 13-week travel contract offers 36 hours per week, with 12-hour day shifts and a rotation to nights. Start date 01/05/2026; SC or compact RN license required; PICU experience a must.

You’ll work in a 28-bed PICU serving ages 0-18, with a multidisciplinary team, 1:1 to 1:3 patient ratios, and support from Epic EMR. Various shifts and weekend coverage apply.

Qualifications

• Active SC or compact RN license required.
• Minimum 2 years of PICU RN experience.
• Current BLS and PALS certifications required.
• Epic EMR experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Care for 0-18 year old PICU patients in a 28-bed unit.
• Provide ventilatory and cardiac support, ECMO, CRRT, dialysis as needed.
• 12-hour shifts with day rotation and scheduled weekends.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team including RTs, dietitians and pharmacists.
