Job summary

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Pediatric ICU travel assignment in Minneapolis, Minnesota. This role requires an active MN RN license and PALS certification, with BLS also mandatory, and offers a 13-week assignment with nights, 3x12hrs shifts.

The position involves caring for PICU and CVICU patients, pre-operative and post-operative surgical and cardiac cases, and requires floating between two hospital locations as needed.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Active MN RN license or MN Temporary Permit-RN.
• Current certifications: BLS and PALS.
• Minimum two years of PICU nursing experience with competency in pre-operative, post-operative surgical and trauma patient care, or two years of pediatric CVICU nursing experience.

Responsibilities

• Care for pediatric patients in PICU/CVICU settings, including pre-operative and immediate post-operative cases.
• Float between two hospital locations as needed.
• Collaborate with care teams to manage critically ill pediatric patients.
