Job summary

American Traveler Staffing Professionals is hiring a Pediatric ICU RN for a night-shift teaching hospital assignment in North Carolina, requiring a PALS certification and at least 1 year of PICU experience. The 3x12 hour nights run 19:00–07:30 with 13 weeks and 1 opening; Epic charting is preferred and you must work every other weekend.

Active NC or Compact RN license, BLS and PALS, plus PICU skills and arterial line/ventilator experience are expected; this assignment includes travel stipends

Qualifications

• Active NC or Compact RN license in hand.
• BLS and PALS certifications required.
• Minimum 1 year PICU experience (2 years preferred).
• Trauma Level I experience preferred.
• Proficiency in respiratory, cardiovascular, renal, neurologic, and GI care for PICU.
• Ventilator and arterial line management, and pediatric dosage calculations preferred.
• 1 supervisory reference within the last year; full SSN and DOB required.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to critically ill pediatric patients in the PICU.
• Follow PICU protocols; manage ventilators and arterial lines as needed.
• Assist with dosing calculations and patient monitoring; collaborate with care teams.
