American Traveler is seeking a Travel RN for a PICU assignment in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. The position is 13 weeks long, with 36 hours per week on a 12-hour night shift schedule. It is travel employment and requires active licensure in Oklahoma or a compact state.

The role demands Level 1 trauma and PICU experience, with ASAP start and no local candidates accepted (must be located more than 50 miles away). Comprehensive travel benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• Active Oklahoma or compact RN license.
• Minimum of 1 year of Pediatric ICU experience in a Level 1 trauma setting.
• Current BLS and PALS certifications from the American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care in a Pediatric ICU.
• Care for a pediatric patient population with varying acuity.
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team to deliver patient-centered care.
• Interact with patient families to communicate care plans and facilitate discharge planning.
• Supervise and delegate tasks to support staff as appropriate.
