Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a travel PICU RN for a 13-week assignment in Peoria, IL, with 12-hour nights and a 36-hour work week. The role requires at least one year of PICU experience, an active IL RN license, and current BLS/PALS certifications.

You’ll work with a dedicated clinical team to provide high-acuity pediatric care. Compensation is competitive with comprehensive benefits, licensure and CEU reimbursements, and weekly pay.

Qualifications

• One year of PICU RN experience
• Valid RN license in IL
• Current BLS (AHA/ARC)
• PALS (AHA/ARC) or ENPC certification

Responsibilities

• Explain procedures and treatments to pediatric patients and families
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments
• Prepare and operate advanced medical equipment (ventilators, central line setups, hemodynamic monitors)
• Continuously observe patient conditions and notify physicians of changes
• Monitor vital signs and initiate rapid interventions when needed
• Document assessments in medical records
• Adhere to safety protocols and infection control guidelines
