Qualifications

• One year of PICU nursing experience required.
• Valid RN license in accordance with state regulations.
• Current BLS (AHA/ARC) certification.
• PALS (AHA/ARC) or ENPC certification.

Responsibilities

• Explain procedures and treatments to pediatric patients and families to ensure understanding and cooperation.
• Administer medications and treatments per pediatric nursing protocols.
• Prepare and operate advanced medical equipment (ventilators, central line setups, hemodynamic monitors).
• Monitor patient conditions and report significant changes to physicians.
