MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN PICU – Pediatric Intensive Care for a travel assignment in Charlottesville, Virginia. This position targets pediatric ICU care on a 13-week assignment, typically 48 hours per week with nights shifts.

The ideal candidate has 18 months of recent Acute Care NICU experience, an active RN license, and PALS & NRP certifications. A degree from an accredited nursing program is required.

• Eighteen months of recent experience in an Acute Care NICU setting.
• Active RN License
• PALS & NRP Certifications
• Degree from accredited nursing program
• Other requirements to be determined by our client facility

Responsibilities

• Provide care for critically ill pediatric patients in PICU with constant monitoring.
• Collaborate with families, physicians and staff to determine care plans.
• Report patient status and recovery expectations to pediatrician and family.
