Job summary

TravelNurseSource, in collaboration with Concentric Healthcare Staffing, seeks a qualified PICU RN for a Cincinnati, Ohio assignment. The position is a 13-week contract in a Pediatric Intensive Care Unit, with on-site duties and rotating 3x12-hour day/night shifts.

The ideal candidate has at least 2 years in PICU, an active Ohio RN license (or compact), and current BLS/ACLS/PALS. Vaccination is required, and a supervisor reference is needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of PICU experience.
• Active Ohio RN license (single-state or compact).
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications.
• Must be fully vaccinated.
• No license disciplinary actions on record.
• Supervisor reference within the past 2 years.
• Must live more than 50 miles from the facility to qualify for travel rates.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a high-acuity PICU setting with patient ratios of 1:1 or 1:2.
• Float as needed within the hospital, including to the CVICU/CICU, travelers are first to float.
• Work rotating day and night shifts based on unit need, with every-other-weekend (EOW) requirement.
• Work a minimum of 2 holidays during the contract period.
• Complete an onsite background check and fingerprinting on the first day of assignment.
