Advantis Medical Staffing is seeking a Travel Physical Therapy Assistant for a 13-week assignment in Pittsburg, KS at LifePoint Rehab - Ascension Via Christi - Pittsburg. The role pays $2,472 per week and follows a Days shift with a 5x8 schedule.

The PTA will support patient care through clinical services, perform assessments and treatments within scope, document progress, operate relevant equipment, and collaborate with physicians and the care team to deliver quality outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Deliver hands-on treatment under the direction of a supervising Physical Therapist, following each patient's established plan of care
• Guide patients through therapeutic exercise, gait training, transfers, and functional mobility activities
• Progress interventions within the established plan of care as patients advance, as directed by the supervising therapist
• Monitor patient response during treatment and report progress and concerns to the supervising therapist
