Job summary

Centra Healthcare Allied seeks a Travel Physical Therapy Assistant for Johnston, Rhode Island. The role is a 13-week contract with 40 hours per week, days shift, 8-hour days. Travel status and SNF/LTC experience are considered. Must have an Associate degree and PTA licensure in progress or active.

Responsibilities include delivering PT services per physician orders under supervision, and collaborating with an interdisciplinary team to achieve patient goals.

Qualifications

• Must have earned an Associates degree from an accredited school.
• Current state license as a Physical Therapist Assistant / PTA or actively in the licensure process.
• Provide skilled physical therapy services under the supervision of a Registered or Licensed Physical Therapist.
• Implement and modify the patient's physical therapy plan of treatment under supervision.

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled physical therapy services in accordance with physician orders.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to meet patient goals.
