Job summary

Towne U.S. LLC is seeking a travel Physical Therapy Assistant for a 13-week assignment in Sandy Spring, Maryland. You will work under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist to help patients regain mobility and independence, with housing and travel stipends provided.

This role offers diverse locations and ongoing support from our team. Required is an Associate’s degree in PTA and an active PTA license or licensure eligibility; 1 year of clinical experience is preferred, with strong

Qualifications

Requires an Associate’s degree from an accredited PTA program.
Active PTA license in the state of practice or eligibility for licensure in multiple states.
Minimum 1 year of clinical experience preferred; new grads encouraged.

Responsibilities

Assist in implementing individualized physical therapy treatment plans developed by the supervising PT.
Help patients perform therapeutic exercises and mobility activities.
Monitor and document patient progress, reporting updates to the PT.
Provide education to patients and caregivers on exercises and rehabilitation techniques.
Maintain equipment and assist with patient mobility to ensure a safe therapy environment.
Collaborate with healthcare teams to deliver patient-centered care.
