Job summary

Medical Talent is seeking a Travel Physical Therapy Assistant for a travel assignment in Huron, South Dakota. This 13-week engagement offers 40 hours per week, with 8-hour day shifts, ASAP start, and supervision by a licensed PT.

You will provide physical therapy services under supervision, deliver interventions per the plan of care, document patient progress, educate patients, and ensure safety and compliance with facility guidelines.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
• Active state PTA license (or ability to obtain).
• Ability to follow treatment plans and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Deliver therapy interventions per PT plan of care
• Document patient progress and response to treatment
• Assist with patient education and home exercise programs
• Communicate patient status to supervising PT
• Adhere to safety, infection control, and compliance standards
