Job summary

National Staffing Solutions-Therapy is seeking a travel Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) for a 13-week assignment in Edison, New Jersey. The travel role offers 40 hours per week with a Monday–Friday schedule, starting ASAP and includes Day One Medical Benefits and a tax-free stipend as part of the package.

The PTA Will support therapists in patient participation, help reinforce therapeutic tasks, and promote health outcomes. Requires ABA license, BLS, and state PTA licensure.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree from an accredited school.
• Physical Therapist Assistant license / Licensure in the state of practice.
• Current BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Assists Physical Therapists in directing patient participation in selected tasks to restore, reinforce and enhance performance.
• Facilitate the learning of those skills and functions essential for adaptation and productivity.
• Diminish or correct pathology and to promote and maintain health.
