Job summary

Fairview Hospital / Cleveland Clinic in Georgia is seeking a Travel Physical Therapist (PT) to evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients with mobility impairments, improve function, and reduce pain through individualized plans.

You will operate therapy equipment, document progress, educate patients and caregivers, collaborate with the care team, and uphold safety and infection control standards while delivering high-quality patient care.

Qualifications

• Valid Physical Therapy license in accordance with state regulations.
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).
• Strong clinical reasoning and communication abilities.
• Proficiency with PC software and ability to follow instructions.
• Physical ability to move and lift equipment (50–100 lbs).
• Effective teamwork and interpersonal skills.

Travel Physical Therapist (PT)

Responsibilities:

Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients with physical impairments to improve mobility, reduce pain, and enhance quality of life. Develop personalized, evidence-based treatment plans, implement therapy techniques, operate specialized equipment, and monitor patient progress. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care, educate patients and caregivers on home exercises and injury prevention, and maintain documentation of evaluations and interventions. Ensure a safe treatment environment by adhering to safety and infection control standards. Participate in professional development and discharge planning to promote patient recovery and independence.
