Qualifications

• Must have 6 months of experience; new grads encouraged.
• BLS certification and state licensing required.
• Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.
• Able to stand/walk for long periods and perform tasks in a clinical setting.

Responsibilities

• Oversee supervising PTAs and therapy staff.
• Bill within the facility following applicable guidelines.
• Comply with state PT board rules and regulations.
• Coordinate with Medical Center staff to ensure a team-focused plan of care.
• Understand and use adaptive equipment.
• Evaluate and create a care plan; modify as patient condition changes.
• Use hospital computer systems for daily tasks and documentation.
