Job summary

Jackson Therapy Partners is seeking a travel Physical Therapist for a 13-week assignment in Hamilton, New Jersey. The role is a SNF setting with 40 hours per week, 8-hour shifts, and a focus on mobility, balance, gait, transfers and ADL training.

The position requires a PT degree, an active NJ license, and BLS certification, with prior SNF or long-term care experience preferred. This opportunity includes travel benefits and nationwide support from the Jackson Therapy Partners team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA.
• Active New Jersey Physical Therapy license required to start the assignment.
• BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
• Minimum experience providing therapy in a skilled nursing facility or long-term care setting preferred.
• Experience with geriatric populations, restorative nursing programs, and documentation in EMR preferred.
• Ability to perform standard PT interventions for mobility, balance, transfers, gait training, therapeutic exercise, and ADL training.

Responsibilities

• Deliver PT services to SNF residents on a 40-hour-per-week schedule.
• Perform mobility, balance, gait, transfers, and ADL training.
• Document patient progress in the EMR.
• Collaborate with facility staff to develop and modify treatment plans.
