Job summary

HiredFirst is seeking a Physical Therapist (PT) for a travel contract in Oxnard, CA. This 13-week assignment offers competitive weekly pay of $2,704 and the chance to work in a Skilled Nursing Facility delivering patient-centered care.

Day shifts, 36–40 hours per week, with potential extension. Active California PT license or eligibility required; SNF experience preferred or new grads with SNF rotations welcome. BLS from AHA is required or obtainable upon offer.

Qualifications

• Active California Physical Therapist license (or eligibility).
• Skilled Nursing Facility experience preferred.
• New graduates with SNF clinical rotations welcome.
• Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association (or ability to obtain upon offer).

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients and develop individualized plans of care using clinical reasoning.
• Deliver age-appropriate therapeutic interventions.
• Modify treatment plans based on patient progress and findings.
• Document evaluations, treatments and progress per facility guidelines.
• Discharge patients when goals are met or services are no longer necessary.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to ensure high-quality outcomes.
