Job summary

Athletico in Charlottesville, VA is seeking a full-time Physical Therapist to evaluate, design, and implement patient plans of care, and participate in local community service.

The position offers a $5,000 sign-on bonus, student loan repayment, CEU allowance, mentorship and leadership programs, and a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, and vision coverage, plus 401(k) with company match.

Qualifications

• Degreed from an accredited Physical Therapy Program.
• 1-2 years of Athletico PT experience.
• Must have an active clinician license in the state where services will be provided prior to beginning assignments; no temporary state licenses will be accepted.
• Current CPR Certification.

Responsibilities

• Manage and monitor full patient cycle: perform an initial evaluation, establish a treatment plan, progress treatment and goals, communicate to physician, discharge, and follow-up.
• Accompany patients during their physician visits.
• Mentor new clinic staff.
• Complete patient documentation in a timely manner including but not limited to, initial evaluations, progress notes, discharge summaries, daily S.O.A.P. notes, functional status reports, functional capacity evaluations and insurance/plan of care forms as necessary.
• Provide local community service such as hosting a booth, presenting in-services, provide coverage at special events, perform complimentary screenings, etc.
• Establish and develop professional relationships with Athletico’s referral sources including, but not limited to, physicians, PAs, ARNPs, chiros, case managers, etc.
