Job summary

TotalMed Allied is seeking a Physical Therapist for a travel assignment in Sidney, Montana. The role involves evaluating patients and developing a plan of care for acute care populations, with a 13-week duration and 36 hours per week in a day shift.

The ideal candidate has at least 1 year of PT experience, is BLS certified, and holds state licensure. New grads may be considered with appropriate background. The travel assignment emphasizes teamwork with PTAs and medical staff.

Qualifications

• BLS certification is required.
• 1 year of PT experience preferred; 6 months may be considered for exceptional candidates.
• Must hold a valid state PT license in the assignment state.
• PTs should be able to stand and walk for long periods and perform bending/stooping.

Responsibilities

• Oversee supervising PTAs and therapy staff.
• Bill within the facility following guidelines.
• Adhere to state PT board rules and regulations.
• Interface with Medical Center staff and physicians for a team-based care plan.
• Understand adaptive equipment and its use for patients.
• Evaluate and create a plan of care.
• Modify plan of care as patient condition changes.
• Utilize Medical Center computer systems for daily tasks.
• Provide timely and accurate documentation per guidelines.
