Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a travel Physical Therapist for a 20-week assignment in Sarasota, FL. The incumbent will evaluate, treat, and educate patients to restore mobility and reduce pain in diverse settings.

Currently seeking a licensed PT with BLS certification; Doctorate is preferred. Travel duties include working 40 hours per week in day shifts, with benefits and support from a dedicated clinical team.

Qualifications

• Valid Physical Therapy license in compliance with state regulations.
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC)

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients’ conditions using tests and history to identify functional limits and needs.
• Develop personalized rehab programs based on assessment findings and patient goals.
• Implement PT plans to improve mobility and reduce pain.
• Operate PT equipment safely and calibrate devices.
• Document evaluations, interventions, and outcomes in the medical record.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other therapists for coordinated care.
• Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs and safety.
• Maintain safe treatment environment and follow infection control guidelines.
• Engage in quality assurance and ongoing professional development.
• Assist with discharge planning for smooth patient transitions.
