Medical Talent is seeking a Travel Physical Therapist to provide skilled PT services in Roanoke, Virginia. The role focuses on evaluation, treatment planning, and direct therapy to restore function and mobility across multiple facilities.

The position requires an APTA-accredited degree, an active PT license (or ability to obtain), and strong communication and documentation skills. Travel assignments are 36 weeks at roughly 40 hours per week, with shift times listed as 8 hours during the day.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an APTA-accredited Physical Therapy program (DPT/MSPT/BSPT).
• Active state PT license (or ability to obtain).
• Strong communication, documentation, and clinical skills.
• Flexibility to adapt to varying facilities, schedules, and patient needs.

Responsibilities

• Screen, evaluate, and treat patients as appropriate.
• Develop and update treatment/discharge plans of care.
• Document services accurately and timely.
• Supervise PTAs and Rehab Techs per practice acts.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams and families.
• Maintain compliance with safety, infection control, and regulatory standards.
