The traveling PT will assess patients, develop individualized treatment plans, and collaborate with doctors and other therapists to achieve optimal outcomes across hospitals and clinics. Strong clinical skills and patient communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Valid Physical Therapy license in Maine is required.
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC) is required.
• New Graduates welcome to apply; Doctorate preferred.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients’ physical conditions and identify functional limitations.
• Develop and implement personalized rehabilitation plans.
• Utilize PT techniques to improve mobility and reduce pain.
• Operate equipment safely and document outcomes in the medical record.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and therapists to coordinate care.
• Educate patients on home exercise programs and safety.
• Maintain infection control and comply with regulatory standards.
• Participate in discharge planning and quality improvement activities.
