Job summary

American Traveler is seeking a Travel Physical Therapist for a 13-week assignment in Lincoln, Illinois. The role involves outpatient and inpatient rehab with a 5x8 schedule and a 8:00 AM–4:30 PM day shift.

Requirements include a minimum of 1 year PT experience, current BLS certification and licensure if applicable. Cerner charting is used; travel requires local housing adjustments and care coordination.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of PT experience required.
• Current BLS certification required (AHA or Red Cross accepted, RQI cards not accepted).
• License required if applicable.
• Experience with orthopedic, cardiopulmonary, and neurologic populations preferred.
• Adaptive devices, gait training and various assessment techniques are advantageous.
• Proficient in documentation including evaluations, care plans and discharge planning.

Responsibilities

• Patient assessment, treatment planning and home exercise program development.
• Provide PT services in outpatient and inpatient rehab settings.
• Treat a variety of conditions including post-op orthopedic cases, COPD, CHF, stroke rehab and spinal cord injuries.
• Utilize equipment such as Hoyer lifts, gait belts and specialty beds.
