Travel Physical Therapist (PT)

Location: Facility in Bristol, Pennsylvania for a 13‑week travel assignment

We are seeking a skilled Physical Therapist to provide high‑quality patient care in hospitals, clinics, and rehabilitation centers.

Required Qualifications

• Valid Physical Therapy license in compliance with state regulations
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC)

Preferred Qualifications

• Doctorate degree in physical therapy
• Experience in physical therapy; new grads welcome
• Any additional certifications or licenses as appropriate

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients’ physical conditions using standardized tests, clinical examinations, and patient history to identify functional limitations and treatment needs
• Develop personalized rehabilitation programs based on assessment findings and patient goals
• Implement physical therapy treatment plans using various techniques to improve mobility and reduce pain
• Operate specialized equipment and modalities safely, maintaining proper calibration
• Assess progress, adjust plans, and document interventions accurately in the medical record
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, occupational therapists, and other healthcare professionals for coordinated care
• Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise plans, body mechanics, injury prevention, and self‑management
• Maintain a safe treatment environment, adhering to infection control, safety guidelines, and regulatory standards
• Participate in quality assurance initiatives and professional development activities
• Assist in discharge planning to ensure smooth transitions to community or home‑based settings

Essential Skills & Abilities

• Critical thinking, service excellence, and strong interpersonal communication
• Reading, writing, and speaking English fluently; ability to follow written and verbal instructions
• Proficiency with PC skills
• Physical: ability to remain stationary, move equipment (50–100 lbs), push, pull, bend; reasonable physical stamina
• Interpersonal: work effectively with a variety of personnel, present a positive attitude, professionalism
• Technical/Motor: fine manipulation, push/pull, assist with procedures and equipment
• Mental: cope with frequent public contact, meet deadlines under pressure, work independently as needed, handle irregular schedules, maintain concentration on details
• Sensory: visual acuity and effective communication skills
