Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing-Therapy is seeking a travel Physical Therapist for a 13-week assignment in Plains, MT. You will provide skilled PT services in a hospital or rehab setting, with a 40-hour work week and days shift, supporting patient mobility and function.

The role requires an active Physical Therapy license in good standing and current BLS certification, with Doctorate in Physical Therapy preferred. New grads are welcome to apply; travel experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Valid Physical Therapy license in compliance with state regulations.
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).
• Doctorate degree in physical therapy preferred.
• New graduates welcome to apply.
• Other certifications or licenses may be required for this position.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients to identify functional limitations and treatment need.
• Develop personalized rehabilitation programs based on assessment findings and patient goals.
• Implement physical therapy treatment plans to improve mobility and reduce pain.
• Maintain and calibrate physical therapy equipment safely.
• Document evaluations and outcomes in the medical record.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other health professionals to coordinate care.
• Educate patients on home exercise programs and safety measures.
• Ensure infection control and safety during therapy sessions.
• Engage in quality assurance and professional development activities.
• Assist in discharge planning for smooth transitions to home or community settings.
