Description

American Traveler is seeking a Pediatric Physical Therapist for an outpatient setting, requiring 1+ year of pediatric experience and the ability to work independently.

Details

• Outpatient pediatric physical therapy setting within an acute care hospital
• Day shift, 5x8 hour schedule, Monday-Friday
• Shift flexibility available between 0730 and 1800
• No on-call requirements
• No floating required
• Uses Epic for charting

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of pediatric PT experience required, sufficient to work independently
• BLS certification required
• CA PT license required (license required if applicable)
• Compact license must be in hand at time of submission
• Epic charting experience preferred
• Experience with outpatient clinic or home health settings
• Skills in adaptive equipment, cerebral palsy, developmental delays, early intervention programs, milestone assessment, scoliosis, and torticollis
• Proficiency in AROM/AAROM/PROM and pain assessment
• Experience with documentation, discharge planning, evaluation, plan of care, and reassessments
• Experience with home exercise programs and patient/family education

Additional Information

• Primary responsibilities include evaluation, treatment planning, and discharge planning for pediatric patients
• Candidate will work independently with pediatric caseload
• Open to first-time travelers
• Local candidates accepted within a 50-mile radius at a reduced rate
• Returning former staff must wait at least 3 months and must not be submitting within 50 miles of a previously worked facility
• All RTO requests must be submitted at time of application for consideration
• Must be willing to commit to working 3 of 5 major holidays
