Description

American Traveler is seeking an Outpatient Physical Therapist with 1+ year of experience to join an outpatient clinic, with potential flexing to acute care coverage.

Details

• Setting: Outpatient Clinic with possible flex coverage to Acute Care, including weekends/holidays if needed
• Schedule: Day shift, Monday-Thursday 8:00am-5:00pm and Friday 8:00am-12:00pm
• Treats orthopedic conditions including DDD, DJD, hip/knee injuries, low back pain, sciatica, and post-op spinal/shoulder surgeries
• Utilizes modalities such as cervical/lumbar traction, cryotherapy, e-stim, ultrasound, and moist heat
• Performs gait training, extremity mobilization, and prosthetic training
• Cerner charting system experience preferred

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of experience in the profession required
• BLS certification required
• Teaching hospital and Trauma Level I/II experience preferred
• Cerner EMR experience preferred
• License required if applicable
• Strong documentation skills including evaluations, plans of care, and discharge summaries

• Responsibilities include patient assessment, treatment planning, home exercise programs, and patient/family education

• Facility conducts its own mandatory drug screen upon arrival, including marijuana testing
