Description

American Traveler is seeking an Outpatient Physical Therapist with experience in both outpatient clinic and acute care settings for a 13-week community hospital assignment.

Details

• Primarily outpatient clinic setting with acute care coverage in a community hospital
• Day shift schedule, 5x8 hours, Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM-5:30 PM
• Weekend coverage required once per month, worked in the acute care setting
• Epic experience preferred for charting

Requirements

• Virginia PT license required (does not need to be in hand at time of offer); license required if applicable
• BLS certification required
• DPT or Master's degree required
• Outpatient clinic and acute care experience required
• Approximately 1 year of travel experience preferred
• Skills in orthopedic assessment and treatment, gait training, therapeutic modalities, and adaptive/assistive devices

Additional Information

• Responsibilities include evaluation, treatment planning, and documentation across outpatient and acute care settings
• May be required to work one holiday per 13-week contract in rotation with staff
• All RTO requests must be submitted with candidate profile
• Facility does not accept first-time travelers
• Local candidates are not accepted; radius rule criteria apply
• Previous employees must have a minimum one-year break before returning as a traveler
