Job summary

MedPro Healthcare Allied Staffing is seeking a travel Physical Therapist for a travel assignment in Monterey, California. The position offers 40 hours per week with 8-hour day shifts and a 13-week duration as part of a travel assignment.

The ideal candidate holds a Doctorate or a Bachelor's with NPTE, has graduated from an accredited school, and possesses at least one year of experience along with an active PT license and CPR certification.

Qualifications

• Must hold a Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy OR a Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy and have passed the NPTE.
• Must have graduated from an accredited school.
• Minimum one year's experience
• Current state license as a Registered Physical Therapist / PT or in process for licensure
• Current CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Assess referred patients and provide direct patient care for rehabilitation.
• Establish and administer a treatment program with goals aligned to patient capacity.
• Document patient condition and educate patients and families in physical therapy methods.
• Develop plans of care and provide skilled physical therapy services per physician orders.
• Collaborate with all disciplines to plan and evaluate team goals for each patient.
